Bad Bitch Polish: The Southern Hemisphere Collection

***Press Sample***

I was pretty darn excited to become a part of the BBB swatcher team, but I was even more excited when I received the collection I was to swatch.  Feast your eyes on the Southern Hemisphere Collection!

The Southern Hemisphere collection consists of 6 beautiful creams, so let's get to some swatches - and maybe a little nail art in the end ;)

First up: Blue Steel

Blue Steel is a pale blue cream, opaque in 1-2 coats.  This was my absolute favorite polish in the collection, it is so beautiful!!

Next: Cotinga

Cotinga is a lovely teal cream, opaque in 1-2 coats.  I just love how this one looks mattified - so smooth!!

Next up: Madagascar Sunset

Madagascar Sunset is a pale, creamy tangerine orange, opaque in 1-2 coats.  It's almost like a creamsicle orange, it's very yummy!

Here we have: Nautica Rose

Nautica Rose is a straight up dusty rose cream, opaque in 1-2 coats.  The first macro was taken in slight shade to show the more dusty-ness of this shade.  It's so gorgeous, very Victorian!

Next is: The Veldt

The Veldt a cool, creamy mint green, opaque in 1-2 coats.  This is my second favorite in the collection, as it, like Blue Steel, seemed to practically glow when I mattified it.  So freakin' beautiful!

And finally we have: You're A Star(ling)

You're A Star(ling) is dusty, gray lavender cream, opaque in 1-2 coats.  This is another color reminiscent of Victorian China - in fact I'm almost positive my mom has a China set with teacups covered in flowers of this color.

Overall, this collection gets the biggest of two polished thumbs up from me!!  I love that these are all that perfect shade that can be worn year-round, and I loooooove how they all look mattified!!  I also really love that they are opaque in 1-2 coats - the fewer the coats, the better.  No polish mountain for me, thank you very much.

And of course, I did some nail art with it :D  When the collection arrived, they happened to match the pair of LuLaRoe leggings I was wearing, and I was inspired to re-create that design on my nails!

This gorgeous Southern Hemisphere Collection is available now!!  Here are the linkages for you:

Fiendish Fancies: Let Us Prey

***Press Sample***

Y'all.

I wrote this entire post, pics and all, and saved it.  And Blogger said, "Screw you, lady!" and didn't save it.  So, apologies in advance if it is a bit more lackluster than usual - I'm kinda peeved and already tired, and have to re-write this from scratch.

*Brandishes Fist* Damn you, Blogger!!!

Back to the regularly scheduled program...er, well, blog post.

I've got a super awesome collection to show you today by Fiendish Fancies!  It is called "Let Us Prey," and it is a delightfully devilish collection inspired by some of the baddest of bad vampires ;)  Let's get right to them!

First up, we have: Best in Mexico

Best in Mexico, inspired by From Dusk Till Dawn, is a fiery orange creamy holo with golden microshimmer.  Opaque in 2 coats.

Next up: Can You Blush?

Can You Blush?, inspired by Blade II, is a black crelly with red and iridescent orange glitter, and an oh so subtle blue shimmer.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.

Next up: God? No God.

God? No God, inspired by 30 Days of Night, is a white crelly with large red and black matte glitter.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.  This one was my favorite in the whole collection, because the white is so crisp and clean, it almost glows!!

Here we have: Welcome to Fright Night

Welcome to Fright Night, inspired by Let Us Prey, is a creamy apple green holo with purple flakies throughout.  This also glows in the dark!!  Mine did not, and I am 99.99999999% positive that is because I live in Phoenix, where it is still reaching 95+ degree days, and Phoenix has rarely, in the history of me purchasing polish, played nice with GITD and thermals.  The glow in this is amazing, and super powerful, and just beautiful!!  Melissa of My Lacquer Cabinet has a fantastic glow shot of this you should totally check out!

Next up: We're An Endangered Species

We're An Endangered Species, inspired by Daybreakers, is a creamy speckled robin egg blue with a subtle holo shimmer.  Opaque in 2 coats - this was me second favorite, it's so creamy dreamy and applies really well!

And lastly we have: You Are Alone, Crusader

You Are Alone, Crusader, inspired by John Carpenter's Vampires, is a lavender full-coverage multi-dimensional glitter in a shimmer base.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.

Overall, I really like this collection!!  It's eclectic, great coverage, and I love the polish interpretations of vampires :D  Well done!!

This collection is available now!  Here are some linkages for you:

Whatcha think?  Are you familiar with any of the vampiric counterparts of these polishes?  Let me know your thought things!

Monster is a gorgeous mauve linear holo with orange/lime iridescent and lime holographic glitters throughout.  Loooooove this one - probably my favorite of them all :)

Next up: Red Blood Sells

Red Blood Sells is a deep burgundy linear holo with red flakies throughout.  Talk about your vampy red!!!

Next: Swamped

Swamped is a delicious black olive linear holographic - and my very close second to my favorite of these four.  It's just wonderfully gorgeous!!

And lastly we have: The Midas Crutch

The Midas Crutch is a gold linear holographic topper, shown here in two coats on the pointer and pinky, and one on the middle and ring over Digital Nails' I See France.  The second macro nail shot above is a side by side of one vs. two coats.
